Round one. Fight!
the combat is easy, but, the menus are hard yes, I agree with this, so much.
Mortal kombat for the computer wins. brootal fatality!

Actually there a Mortal Kombat for the computer but it's not Jaws or Speech friendly, but I have played every Mortal Kombat game and I have not ran in one that is assessible. All of them are playable to an extent. Only round to round fighting, but the newer vertions now have modes where you would walk arround and fight and different things like that.

I have only played Mortal Kombat on the PS2, but I wanna download some of the stuff for it for the N64.

Post 8 by serrebi101 (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 28-Apr-2008 4:50:17

There is a pc version of Mortal Kombat 4. It plays just like the 64 version if I remember correctly. I haven't played it in years. I play deception when I do.

Post 9 by serrebi101 (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 28-Apr-2008 4:51:34

Also, there's a version of triligy for the pc as well.

How can you play such a games? Do you need some vision or it's only based on sound.
I know, that this game wasn't designed for blind, but it sounds interesting.

well, I had mk1 mk2 mk3 triligy, and 4 for the pc.
if you play any other mainstream games you just use the menues like you would on those.
they were good but, I don't think there sold any more. hmm, aquire them via the internet via some p2p cliant if you so desire....

Post 12 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Monday, 28-Apr-2008 23:10:01

U can play them with vision, but I don't think its required to play it. I guess u could do it all by sound, but I have never tried.

It took me a while to learn Sub-Zero's fatality, and Scorpions. I haven't learned anyone else's. On armagedin, I don't even know if they have them anymore, or if t5hey have, I haven't figured them out yet, even with help from gamefaqs.

chad? you forgot about someone, man! the master at them all! yours truely. if you guys want to play any sort of mk games on the pc, especially if it's arkades, i've got the emulators and the games you can use to play them with. just be warned, if anyone plays against me, i don't show any mercy, even if you are a beginner. so to put it in short and sweet, your dead! ha ha ha!

Nice, I may have to get those.

Post 17 by Geemoney (Generic Zoner) on Thursday, 08-Jan-2009 23:22:14

I cant find a playstation imulator.

Post 18 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Thursday, 08-Jan-2009 23:26:37

Got it for ya. EPSZ. Best one, and accessible too.

Post 19 by zackmack2000 ( extreme killer of the keys) on Friday, 16-Jan-2009 17:30:30

if you are looking for a good arkade emulator, mame ui 32 is the best one for you.

I used to use that thing, then lsot it. I've mainly been playing games intended for the blind.

Also, I knew someone with a version of trilagy for the pc, but it only ran on windows 98, and we could not get it to run on anything else no matter what we did.

Oh wow, what emulator do you recommend for n64 games? I tried one called project64 when I had my old computer, and if memory serves, it wasn't the least bit accessible where the menu's were concerned, so couldn' figure out which keys were supposed to control whic functions.
I'd also be interested in one for supernintendo games if you could recommend one.

Post 22 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Tuesday, 12-May-2009 17:18:38

Project64 works fine for me, but you've gotta have your numlock off. For SNES, I'd recomend SNES.exe. You can find it on emubomb.com

Post 23 by Juliet (move over school!) on Wednesday, 13-May-2009 10:50:08

how were you able to figure out the menu settup for project64? If I remember correctly, I could press the alt key when Jaws was loaded to try to figure out which keys were supposed to control what, and it didn't do anything but sit there..
So in the end, I just had to unload Jaws and just play around with it on my own.

Post 24 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Wednesday, 13-May-2009 12:17:40

I did a google search on what it was, and I found a page where it said what keys did what.

Post 25 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 01-Jun-2009 15:19:17

So mortal Kombat Huh? I played and still play all mortal Kombat games. I haven't found anyone who could beat me. I always kick everybodies ass online. It usually offends them to find out that a blind guy kick their asses.
I get a kick out of it...

Chess Kombat is my favorite.

Do any of these emulators mentioned in this thread work with windows vista on a thirty-two-bit operating system? I'd love to play around with them now that I've got the time to do it.

Post 27 by blindndangerous (the blind and dangerous one) on Thursday, 04-Jun-2009 13:20:08

Yeah, but don't know how though. XP for the win.

Post 28 by Corpse-Grinder (Veteran Zoner) on Thursday, 11-Jun-2009 23:54:47

You can try project 64 1.6. It works with vista pretty well. I have MK 4 and Killer Instinct Gold and it plays fine.

There's no need to resort to emulators, just google mortal kombat project.

it's very similar to MK trilogy and it's free.
